I am a full-stack engineer with significant experience across web and mobile. Most recently I've been working on a fantasy-sports website, which is used internationally and generates millions a year. In the last two years, I helped architect a React Native e-commerce app from scratch that conducted over $100 million in sales in its first year. I've also contributed to a highly trafficked e-commerce web app, and helped build and launch a retail food ordering kiosk. I take features from idea to implementation, from database queries and APIs to building out pixel-perfect UIs.

While I love solving technical problems, I also place high importance on delighting customers and delivering value for the business. I've built solid relationships with our business stakeholders and am happy to help translate the technical side of things to ensure we're all aligned. I've always valued strong communication with my peers.

My goal is to live on the forefront of technology, level up those around me, and deliver the best software possible to the world.

Senior Front End Developer

Draftkings , April 2022 - Present
Archictected and enhanced a variety of web apps that entertain millions of sports fans all over the world each year. Most recently, worked on a website that allows users to collect NFT sport cards. Users can trade or sell their cards, and use them to enter lineups to compete against eachother in fantasy sports contests. Continuously making improvements to this fast-paced and ever-changing world of sports technology, to give users the best sports experience possible.

Full-Stack Software Engineer

Hy-Vee , Des Moines, October 2015 - March 2022
Worked on numerous web and mobile ecommerce applications that are relied on by thousands to order groceries daily. Been involved in the engineering and hosting of a variety of APIs, both on-premise and within the cloud, in order to supply data to the company and our customers. A consistent bridge between business and development to ensure all technological decisions are efficient and practical, while also supporting business needs.

BC Development

My personal development brand, and a constant work-in-progress. I currently have two React Native applications out in production. Flash Cards Plus is out in the App Store as well as Google Play Store and has assisted thousands of users with intuitive and effective studying. Magic 8 Ball was my first project. Although it doesn't attain much traffic, it was a blast to work on and helped me figure out the overall mobile application process.

Software Internship

Maintained and improved various web applications used to keep a Fortune 500 company afloat. Implemented GUI applications utilized internally to maintain terabytes worth of logistical data. Converted out-dated .NET applications into newer technologies to future-proof them.
